Antique 1870's Victorian Recessed Foundation Vent Cast Aluminum from brand-new Orleans
This exquisite architectural salvage piece is a Victorian Foundation Vent made of cast aluminum, originally from a Victorian house in brand-new Orleans built in 1875. Traditionally set into the foundation using cement as a binder, this vent features an oval body with an acanthus rim, lattice interior, and pierced center. It can be primed and painted with exterior primer and paint.
Dimensions:
Rear: 17-1/2″ wide x 9″ tall
Front: 22-3/4″ wide x 14-1/2″ tall
Depth: 3-7/8″
Condition: Both decorative foundation vents are in incredibly good condition with no repairs or cracks. They still retain some of their original green paint remnants. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
